Added Projects page consuming JSON file.

Migrating from old personal site to this one

I have yet to move the “Website” JSON to this site yet. However, it turns out pretty nicely so far with the “Apps”. Astro is not as convenient as NextJS when dealing with inline Javascript. But it is good enough for some basic client site rendering.

It also seems like there’s an increase in visitor

Changing from the Wordpress site to this Astro site, I’ve observed an increase in visitor, if I’m not mistaken.

Still prefer web dev framework over WordPress

Interesting enough, I thought I can focus on just writing article by using WordPress and care less about technology. But, I still find myself more into tinkering to the extreme and WordPress is just too writer centric and over complicate things for a programmer.

I can easily set up my own tailwind page, or add a self hosted sign up, login and subscription system. Although I suspect these can be done in WordPress, it would usually need third-party paid plugin and indirect work-around. Whereas I can do them easily in say, Astro, or any framework.
